PRIMAVERA is a relatively large scale farm in CHAPADAS DE MINAS, BRAZIL. The care taken in producing their coffees has led to continued increases in quality, with an evolving approach to processing playing an important role. We present this WASHED lot with great excitement, as it showcases the farm’s ability to produce balanced coffees with satisfying acidity in spite of a modest altitude of 1000m. Under this processing we find the varietal CATUAI produces characteristcs common to the regional terroir -- malt, cacao, tobacco -- as well as a mellow fruitiness like golden delicious apples.
