Are there nuts in your pastry?

  • With the exception of our granola bars & almond croissants, all of our pastry is nut-free. We do work with nuts on a small scale in our kitchen, and it is recommended that if you have a severe nut allergy, you avoid food from our kitchen to be safe.

Is Southdown Coffee available in decaf?

  • All of our espresso-based drinks are available in decaf, including specialty beverages, lattes, cappuccinos, cortados and americanos. Decaf drip coffee is available at some locations where demand is high enough that we can keep it fresh. If your local Southdown shop doesn’t have brewed decaf, we recommend an americano. Alternatively, you can order our decaf coffee online to be delivered to your door.

Is Southdown Coffee organic?

  • We offer a wide selection of organic coffees and feature our organic, dark-roasted Sure Shot Espresso Blend daily in the cafe. Please explore the details for the coffee you are interested in to see whether or not it is organic.

  • We have pushed to feature more certified organic coffees on our menu in recent years, but it is not always a disqualifying factor for us when purchasing coffee. Organic certifications can often be costly and not worth it for a small farmer to certify, even if they are practicing organic farming. Likewise, invasive fungi like “La Roya” have devastated farms in Central and South America and left many farmers with no choice but to spray small amounts of fungicide when there are no cherries present on the tree, thus saving their crop and buying them time while looking for more natural remedies to the issues threatening their livelihood.

Where do you get your coffee from?

  • We source our coffee from a variety of countries worldwide, with an emphasis on supporting a supply chain which values the people and environments that produce great coffee. While we have been fortunate to visit some of the farms whose coffee we serve, we also rely on excellent importers who share our values to maintain those relationships and create new ones. All of our importers pay premiums to producers based on quality, which we then pay in turn, helping to raise pay for everyone in our supply chain.

Are your coffee shops dog friendly?

  • As per health codes, we allow service animals only in our locations.
