Konga comes from the celebrated Yirgacheffe growing region in southern Ethiopia, specifically from the community of Konga, known for producing some of the country’s most expressive and high-quality coffees.
Smallholder farmers here typically cultivate heirloom varieties on tiny garden plots where cool nights and rich, volcanic soils help create the region’s distinctive cup character. Konga coffees are traditionally washed processed, resulting in a bright, clean profile with vibrant citrus and floral notes.
